Siddhartha Education Trust (R), Bhatkal has opened the Siddhartha Job Coaching Centre (R) for government-job aspirants in Bhatkal, Uttara Kannada. It prepares candidates for IAS, KAS, FDA, SDA, PSI, PC, PDO, VAO, KPSC Group C, KEA Group C, TET (classes 1–5), GPSTR (classes 6–8), CET (HSTR), banking and railway examinations.

About the centre
- Runs on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the four-storey building behind the KSRTC bus stand, where Siddhartha PU College taught thousands of students for 15 years before moving to Sonarkeri.
- Three large former laboratories are now a library and reading room, open 8 am – 8 pm in two shifts, with ten sets each of the last 15 years' question papers (IAS, KAS, PDO, FDA, SDA, PSI, PC, VA, railway, banking) and study material.
- Daily classes, 2 pm – 5 pm: Indian polity, history, constitution, geography, general science, current affairs, sports and mental ability (aptitude, reasoning, general English). Candidates in part-time jobs can attend.
- The ground floor houses a Montessori (pre-nursery) school and baby-sitting.
